Whilst studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Quilt formed between Shane Butler and Anna Fox Rochinski. Quilt’s self-titled debut release on Mexican Summer puts forth layers of choral harmonies, pop, and psychedelia all at once, and somehow these elements work. Imagine exactly this: a hot summer day with a scarcity of water, Quilt’s music is the one drop you long currently have, want, and very well will desperately seek out for.
