The old devils are indeed at it again. William Elliott Whitmore is coming back to Dallas, playing the Prophet Bar on September 24th. I got to see Mr. Whitmore in town when he played in December and it was a truly delightful experience, and now I would like to share this experience with you. If you’re unfamiliar with his music, the only thing you really need to know is that this is a man who can seamlessly work in the chorus to “The Roof is on Fire” into a serious, acoustic folk song and makes it work perfectly.
