Animal Collective came into a wider fan base upon the release of their 2009 album Merriweather Post Pavilion, leading new fans and old fans alike to live in great anticipation of their follow-up. Now, three years later, the band has released their ninth album Centipede Hz, and it is something else. Louder and even more off-the-wall, this album is sure to make for entertaining live music.
Fortunately for all of us, the great Animal Collective is stopping in Dallas on their nationwide tour and they’re bringing their eclectic style, psychedelic music, and unconventional live performance with them. They’ll be at House of Blues on Thursday, September 27th with Micachu and the Shapes opening. We’re giving away tickets, so don’t miss your chance to win, ya dig.
