Freelance Whales is an indie band hailing from New York whose minimalist, soft-handed indie pop with splashes of electronic bloops and bleeps is endearing as all get out. With their new album, Diluvia, which happens to be only the second album from the young band, they offer even further proof that they’re more than simple background music for Starbucks commercials. These guys (and girl) are talented as all get out too; just take a listen to the as-clever-as-it-is-catchy single from the new album, “Sptting Image“.
Diluvia is dropping on October 9th, and they’ll be here in Dallas the next day to celebrate with all who show up. So, want to see them and Geographer at Trees next Wednesday, October 10th? Thanks to Tactics Productions, we can hook you up with a free pair of tickets!
