Dan Deacon is a 31 year old producer from Baltimore, Maryland who has been releasing DIY music since 2003. Deacon like other DIY musicians, modifies different instruments himself to create a sound that is absolutely his own. Deacon released his latest album America in August featuring something that can only be described as an electronic symphony. Deacon takes us on a journey like no other from coast to coast of the American landscape vividly expressing America through his music. In America, Deacon is able to touch upon the many different buttons music is able to press in one’s mind. Just like his music, his live shows are one of a kind, audience interaction and all. Deacon has an uncanny ability of playing off the crowd and getting everyone involved.
