Deafheaven brought atmospheric black metal to the spotlight with 2013’s critically acclaimed Sunbather. Since then, they’ve headlined tours in support of their latest New Bermuda, and have opened for metal giants Lamb of God and Anthrax. They’re back at Trees with Texas natives This Will Destroy You, and Emma Ruth Rundle, whose well-received album Marked For Death came out on Sargent House last year. While each artist brings something new to the table, the show will be unified in dark, captivating sounds.
