The moment Chilldren of Indigo start playing their blend of blues, rock, and hip-hop, it’s evident that they’re not here to share just music but to share their heart and soul and passion. They sit at the cross section of so many genres and styles because they’re moved to write whatever song best suits their message. The Dallas band started in 2014 and has grown in popularity in the area since then, playing around Deep Ellum often as well as a few festivals. The five piece includes UTD student Nick Murphy who we discovered opening for Medicine Man Revival at the first ever Lift Off on campus.
