Sudie has been singing her whole life. While studying opera at SMU, she began experimenting with production in GarageBand and slowly built up her gear collection. Her powerful, perfected voice leads the way in her darkly atmospheric electronic compositions, which show off her vocal abilities through layering while remaining completely danceable. As we said in our 2016 interview with Sudie, her unique musical background and influence make it hard to compare her sound to other artists. She’s becoming a force in the DFW music scene, and we’re glad to have her around.
